Hello all.
Just purchased a house that was accompanied with appliances however the fridge has been nothing but problems. At first it wasn’t cooling, we replaced the starter relay and it was working fine until we got a random brownout (power went off and came back on.) It began to click about 1 sec/click and it stopped cooling (freezer & fridge.) Through the knowledge of the internet, we ordered a "Defrost Control Board" as we heard that can cause the clicking noise. As we were replacing it, we noticed that the old control board had been "fried" with singe marks.
We replaced the control board with the new one and it was still making the clicking noise. We waited about 15 minutes and decided to make sure secured the wires correctly during the installation of the new control board. When we took out the control board we noticed the same singe "fried" marks on the new one! Anybody have any clue? Thanks for the help in advance.
