Not the timer, sooo....

Hi,
I’ve replaced the timer in this washer before and fixed the issue of the cycles not stopping\starting in the proper sequence. Couple years later, it has started the same problem again. I’ve tried two new timers and it is not fixing the out-of-sync issue. Any suggestions for next steps in fixing the washer? Thanks!

Need the washer model number and a more detailed description of the problem.

Kenmore Series 800, Model 29822800, serial CY1840784. The agitation starts immediately when you hit the switch and then the tub starts to fill with water. It progress through the cycles until it finally spins out but then the tub starts to fill again (maybe 30 seconds worth of water) and everything stops leaving the clothes wet.

Faulty fabric softener switch. This is actually a load sense device that contains a circuit board and is used to determine how much water to add to the machine and when to start agitation. It’s a high failure item in these load sensing machines.
