Nothing works on my oven

I have a Maytag single built in oven model number MEW6530DDS and the Bake, broil and other functions buttons no longer work. Canncel and [FONT=Arial][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial][SIZE=1]
Conv Roast still works.

Open the control panel and remove the control panel ribbon cable from the control board.

Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for a hairline cracks, using a magnifying glass.

Clean the edge with a pencil eraser. Clean the connector on the board, using an electronic contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Make sure it’s dry before reconnecting.

Reconnect everything and give it a try.

If it would not help, replace the control panel.

It didn’t work. The upper strip made a beaping sound when removed from the control pannel and the lower strip didn’t do anything. Is itpossible that the strips are the problem? Do I need to replace the whole pannel or can I buy the strips only.

I’m assuming the ribbon cable is the part you called "strip". The ribbon cable comes as a part of the control panel and can not be replaced separate.
