I picked up this used washer. It starts with say 60 minutes in the display, runs for a few minutes like it is fine then drains leaving a basket of wet clothes, shuts off and displays the oL error code.
I have the top off and when I spin the basket it goes freely for a revolution then it seems like it snags on something… I can then spin the other way around and it goes maybe a revolution and a half and snags again…
I was told to remove the basket, assuming something is caught underneath.
I have the cap, bolt and agitator out. According to the diagram I was given, the basket should just lift out… but it won’t come out…
Looks to me like there is a spanner nut next in line (which most likely needs a special tool)…
Question is, am I on the right track here just needing the spanner wrench or will removing this nut not get the basket out?
