The icemaker works ok but will only dispense crushed ice, not cubes

Hello,

Remove the ice bucket. Remove the motor cover to access the solenoid. Check the solenoid for continuity. Replace it if it’s open.

Check for 120 VAC to the solenoid while the door switch is taped in and the ice dispenser calls for cubed ice. Post the results.
