[FONT=Arial]My wife had the oven self cleaning the other night and when she went to wipe the oven clean after it had cooled there was a load bang when she opened the door all the way and the right hinge came out of the frame of the oven. I took everything apart to get a good look at it and got the hinge back to where it was supposed to be, the door even seem to work just fine until I got the glass mounted back on the oven door, now the oven door will not shut all the way. You can push and hold it shut with the oven door locking mechanism but otherwise it stays open about a half inch or so. From what I have read so far it appears that maybe one of the hinges must be bad, but I looked at that when I had the door completely apart and the hinge/spring looked fine, also if it the hinges/springs do need to be replaced it looks like they are either welded in place or rivited in place. HELP!!!

Most likely the problem is a bad hinge, but unfortunately this part has been discontinued and is no longer available.
