I have a Kitchenaid Oven/Mircorwave that is 5 yrs old. Recently had to replace the touch panel and main board to fix an F2 E1 Error that we had. Luckly parts were still under warranty. Now I have a new problem that I can’t seem to figure out. When you start to preheat the oven, it gets extremely hot inside the microwave (the glass turntable that is). If you want to just use the microwave, you get a "door" error. I checked the fuse and all the door switches and everything was fine. I then found that if you start the oven the Mirowave will start-up. Any idea’s???
Put a glass of water in the microwave and start the lower oven. If the water will get hot then there is a miswiring on the control board. Stop use it and call people who replaced it. They did something wrong.
That is correct. The water in the Microwave gets hot in a very short amount of time. I have a call into the company that replaced the board. Do you think that it is a problem with the board itself or a just something pluged-in incorrectly on the board? Thanks for the help.
