Had new ignitor installed in December. All fine until last evening. (Though repairman complained of rusty ignitor holder(? )and almost could not get old one off.) Would not come up to 350 only 280 shut off and restarted to 350 beeped & seemed to be coming up but house had strong gas smell. Shut off restarted right away and set for 380 started at temperature 325. How could it lose that much heat so fast? If it is another bad ignitor why did I have such a gas smell? Tried it this morning and seems ok, should I call repairman or wait? Outside temp was seasonal not bitterly cold or anything. Thanks!
