Oven won't turn on

Hello:

My oven won’t light, the range works fine, but all of a sudden the oven stopped lighting. I looked in the broiler door and I think the ignitor is glowing orangish white but it doesn’t appear that any gas is coming out.

Any ideas?

not sure if anyone answered you yet… I’ve got the same/similar issue (in my case, i don’t even get a glow). The word is that the ignitor is increasing its resistance as it ages, and though it’s still glowing, it is not allowing enough amps through to open the relay that releases the gas. Replacing the ignitor is easy and cheap enough. I just purchased my ignitor from here (cheapest site around that offered the part).
