My motor makes noise in between cycles andin the last spin cycle it hums and just shuts off. motor is very warm. i noticed char marks on both red connections to motor switch. i bought a new switch and still the same results, the motor overheats. this also happens with the drive belt removed
If the problem persists when the drive belt is removed then it is likley your motor is in the process of failing, and will need to be replaced. Motors do not usually fail, but they do seem to fail more than normal on these models, so there is a good chance that is the problem.
