GE Profile French Doors Bottom Freezer: Inside water dispenser, on left wall, was intermittently dispensing slow, it would run for about 24 oz. then the pump sounded like it changed gears & then started dispensing pretty slow. Now it dispenses some & then shuts down to a dribble. Inside filter changed a couple of months ago. Just ordered a new filter just in case. Haven’t noticed if ice is affected since I’m not really an ice user.
Sounds like the water system sucks air somewhere. Inspect all lines and the water tank as it’s shown at the [B]diagram[/B].

P.S. Did you dispense 2-3 gallons of water after you replaced the water filter last time?
Well regarding the 2-3 gallons, I know I didn’t measure it, but perhaps I thought the amount discarded was enough as I usually run it for about a minute. I’ll put the inspection of the water lines on my next to do list, and try to locate the tank to inspect it. Thanks for getting me started in another direction. And additionally I did order a filter bypass cap to have the ability to decipher if the filter is not working properly. Thanks again Gene.
