Recently my wife’s "favorite" cooktop burner quit on our Kenmore Elite. Now it won’t come on, yet the "surface" light indicates that it is on. It is model number 790.46803992. I hate to start buying items that may or may not fix the unit, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate the help.
