I just replaced a faulty thermostat cold control in my Whirlpool side by side. It was running intermittently and shutting off. After finishing the install and plugging it back it, it ran fine and was blowing cold. After 15 minutes, it just completely shut off and now won’t run. I’ve tried turning the thermostat off and back on, but now luck. Any idea what to try next?
You seem to be missing some digits at the end of your model number so I cannot tell if the unit uses a defrost board or a defrost timer.
It could be that the unit went into a defrost mode.
How long did you wait for it to come back on.
Defrost will last about half an hour.
