My refrig continually makes odd noises. The one I am mostly concerned about is the clicking at the compressor. I think it is a thermal overload, and I have ordered one to replace it. I also ordered a cap. I hope that fixes the problem. The fridge seems to work pretty well, but it clicks the overload on the compressor several times during each cooling cycle. I have checked the amps and at 1.25 amps, I don’t think it is locking up. It seems to start up ok if I unplug it for a while, but the compresssor only runs a few minutes before it starts cycling the thermal overload. After it kicks, it won’t start the compressor back until it has thermalled out a few times. It repeats the run/click/run cycle until it cools enough to satisfy the thermostat inside, then the circulating fan and everything shuts down. Recently, I had to defrost the freezer drain, and make sure it was unplugged. I think it may be related to the compressor kicking out. hope the new thermal and cap fixes the problem.
