Refrig Evap Frozen over

I’ve read much on this and seems to be replacing the evap assembly & have seen posts for just replacing the evap heater.

My unit always reads 36 degrees, I suspect because the temperature stays about that because the coils are frozen. I have defrosted and it re-froze in a few days.

Here is Question: How do you rule out that it may be the thermal fuse or the Thermistor? Or will that even cause the problem?

thanks

I would test the defrost heater for continuity using a multimeter.

There are 3 connectors feeding the evaporator assembly. What are they (which one do I use to check continuity of what)? If the thermal fuse is bad, will there be continuity through the defrost heater?
