Refrig/Freezer Not Cooling

Came home last night to find frozen food thawed with temp showing 26 F and refrig at 42. Pulled back panel, cleaned condensor fins, verified fan was blowing. Compressor was hot, but I could keep my hand on it. Also pulled the circuit board cover and there is no smell of burnt circuit (at least on top side). Turned it off at the control panel, but did not unplug from the outlet. After serveral hours, turned it back on and set temps to factory recommended. Cendensor fan is running and felt slight vibration on the compressor, so assumed it started and is running. It’s been several hours now and still is not cooling down, although in the freezer the water condensation on the center of the rear wall is frozen. Compressor is hot, but I can keep my hand on it and the condensor fan is still running. Temps are not coming down according to separate internal thermometers I have inside. Further troubleshooting on Saturday, pulled the back freezer panel and the evaporator is iced over, top to bottom. Pulled the defrost heater and have continuity, so assuming it is good. I was able to tell, without pulling remaining panels that the evaporator fan is not turning. Question is do I replace only the evap motor? I’ve read that the motor pulls its power thru the board. Is this true? If so, should I also replace the board? THank for the advise
