Refrigerator and freezer too warm

I’m not sure what’s wrong with my refrigerator. It’s running constanly, but it’s not getting very cold. I’d like to fix it, but I don’t know what to fix. Why isn’t it getting cold if it’s running constantly? Please help!!

Did you see the rear panel in the freezer in frost?

Does the fan in the freezer work?

Gene.

I didn’t notice any frost in the freezer. It is actually working much better than the fridge but it’s not as cold as it should be and it’s not making ice like it should.

The fan does work and it blows cold on the freezer side, just not cold enough, and the fridge is nowhere near cold enough.

I emptied the fridge and the freezer yesterday, but I didn’t open up the inside until now. I just pulled the fride out to see if there was dust clogging the back and found a big puddle. So apparently there was some frost somewhere.

Jessica, I posted a thread on MY "fridge & freezer both too warm" soon after you posted yours. Turns out that my problem was simple as a HUGE dust build-up on the condenser coils. I should’ve started with that one, and just wanted to check that you did think to do so.

Personally, I’ll have to clean those coils monthly, and/or better-enforce the kids’ dog-brushing discipline!

Thank you netpog, I did check that first, but my problem appears to be a little bigger than dust. Thanks for the advice.

The gas inlet line on my Roper stove AP3129377 has failed and it has been discontinued!! What do I have to do to put it back in service. The line was torn apart at the bottom where it ties onto the hard pipe connection so I can not just tie it back with a copper tubing fitting. thanks or your help
