my refrigerator has started making noise like someone is knocking on a door 4 to 5 times daily for maybe half a minute to one minute. Thank you for any help.
On the surface, that sounds like a failing compressor; but a noise like that will be very difficult to diagnose long distance. You may just have to patiently wait until you’re right there when it starts, so you can tell us where on the machine you hear it.
