I have a Whirlpool Gold refrig. that doesn’t work right. I worked fine then it quits cooling completely. I would turn the defrost timer until it clicked and then it would work for a day or 2 then it would quit cooling again. I did replace the defrost timer but that did not help. If I unplugged the refrigerator overnight it would work great for a few days to a week or longer then it would quit again. Power is on to the unit and the lights and water dispenser still works. the evaporator fan is working and there does not seem to be a build up of ice on the coils. I am not sure what to check next.
