Hello,
My fridge runs non-stop. I’m assuming there’s a sensor that may not be signalling that it has reached temperature. Any advise on what I should be looking for is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Please check it
Are you sure it is 2624 and not 2642?
What are the freezer and fresh food section temperatures.
The freezer should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
The fresh food should be around 38 degrees F.
It could be the unit is not getting down to the set point temperatures.
Definitely 2642. Temps are within range. Condenser fan is running constantly, and the compressor is warm to the touch with a slight vibration. I was told that the newer fridges like this one that have variable speed compressors only turn off for short periods(?).
Here are your parts

Yes the compressor uses an inverter.
This means that it is variable speed.
When the freezer needs more cooling it speeds up the compressor to provide this. Then it returns to idle speed to maintain the temperature.
On an old start relay compressor has to start up the compressor and this uses a lot of energy so inveter units are more efficient.
Therefore since your compartment temperatures are good, the unit is running correctly.
Thanks for your help. Makes sense that it would be more efficient than the hard-start models by keeping it at idle.
