Please help this single lady.
After a thunderstorm the power went out and after the power lines were fixed my refrigerator/freezer do not work. The Freezer is not freezing. It is blowing cool air from the top where it makes the ice but not cold enough. I opened the top flap and it is blowing cool air. The refrigerator part is also cool but not cold. The temperature is kept at 4 for both sides and I increased it but it is still cool only. Everything else the lights seem to be working. I can’t afford to buy another one. This one is in good condition. Please help me fix my refrigerator.
Sandy,
Remove the back panel and check the compressor, should be warm and vibrating and the condensing coils warm.
