The fan inside my freezer has been humming for about a year, then a few days ago it quit cooling. I found that the mother board was burned so I ordered a new one. After I installed it and plugged it in the fan at the bottom on the condensor kicked on then the compressor kicked on but the fan inside the freezer didn’t and I noticed that one of the green with stripes ceramic looking resistors on the mother board was getting warm. I unplugged it after a couple of minutes. Does it have to run for a little while before the fan inside the freezer kicks on or do I have another problem? Please help
You must replace the evaporator fan motor or the motherboard will burn out.
Usually, if that resistor burns out, the board will work if the resistor is replaced, but not allways.
