The Cam Riser tore apart while opening the fresh food door on my GE side-by-side fridge Model #TFH24PRSBWW. The door now won’t close all the way because it slid down the shaft about 1/4" or so. If I lift up on the door, then it will close. I ordered a new Cam Riser (Part WR2X4901). Here are some questions:
(1) How do I get the fresh food door off?
(2) Exactly how do I position the cam riser when I install it? Is this obvious to do?
(3) I also bought the Shim Cam (Part WR2X7491) and Shim (Part WR2X4540). I’m not sure I need to replace these but if I do, do these go under the Cam Riser?
