My Husband unscrewed the front pannel to tighten the handle which was falling off. When he did 2 white plastic pieces came out. I think they are called door guards. Does anyone know how to put them back in or know where they go? I can’t seem to find a diagram anywhere. Also, is it normal for the white insulation on the inside to be a bit moldy? Yuk!! Thanks for any help…
Hi Tracy,
Slide them back in over the hinge, lining up the door guard square tab with the hinge lever square notch.

Hello
I have a loose handle on my Bosch DW - only about 3 yrs old.
Is it necessary to remove the whole inside panel to tighten it?
What pitfalls are there - like springs or other things that will fall out? Is there a seal than will be difficult to reset?
Thanks,
TED GROAT
Hi Ted,
What is the complete model number of the dishwasher?
Gene.
You can find the model number on the right side of the door or behind the bottom panel.

Gene,
Thanks for the info, fixed it without any problems. I was able to take off the screws from the right side (side where the handle was loose) and the top and then get to the screw which holds the handle on without having to take the entire door off which really helped.
Thanks again.
Mark
My Maytag clothes washing machine won’t stop spinning in the Regular and Delicate Fabric Settings. It will run correctly in the Permanent Press Cool Down Setting. Is this the Fabric Selector Button, the Timer Motor or something else?
The model is GA210, Series 01, Serial Number 185001GC.
Are there parts available for this machine?
Thanks
Is the control module behind the door cover?

To remove the outer door, open the door and remove the T-20 Torx screws located on each side of the inner stainless door.Return the door back to its upright position, and bring the bottom of the door panel out toward you, then slide the top of the panel down and out from under the fascia panel.
As the outer door is being removed, the left or right door guards may shift or fall out of place. To reposition them, slide them back in over the hinge, lining up the door guard square tab with the hinge lever square notch. Please note: door guards must be in place before reinstalling the door panel.
Tighten the screws holding the door handle.
Assemble in the reverse order.
Longer drying time for a plastic dishes is normal due to their porous surface.

Hi Gene,
It is a SHE44C05UC/40
It seems like a control module will cost $105 plus $10 to ship. Bosch said the module is covered in their 5 year warranty but my Appliance repairman charges $200 minimum for a home visit. So I can pay $200 for him to do it or buy it for $115 and do it myself. I’m an engineer and I’m pretty good with electronics but I’m a dishwasher virgin… Advice?
John

I have a Bosch SHU4302UC dishwasher and I took off both the door panel and the top panel to resolder the circuit that was causing my unit to run 3 - 4 hours per full wash cycle (didn’t realize I only had to take off the top panel). I think I got everything right except for these two darn black plastic door guards. It’s driving me nuts, they seem to be like square pegs in a round hole. Please help - any diagrams?
Hopefully the attached pictures will help you.

I am going to attempt to repalce the outer door panel and panel facia to make my Bosch dishwasher match the rest of our kitchen (stainless). Do you have any tips or instructions/parts breakdown sheets that could assist me in my project? Model number is SHE43P02UC/50

Michael,
This model number does not come up. Is it American model?
Gene.
Yes, bought it at Lowes I believe.
There were 3 models of the same machine and the difference was color. Mine is currently white but the black and stainless ones had a couple of different numbers where the 02 is.
It looks exactly like this one.
Michael,
The closest model number I found is SHE43P02UC/56.
