I need to replace the oven/bake ignitor on this Jenn-air wall oven. The picture of the flat ignitor AP4012072 show a plug at the end of the two white wires.
The problem is that the two white wire go through a hole in the back of the oven thru the insulation then through a hole in a second panel(the insulation retainer wall and I can not get my fingers in far enough to feel and king of plug.
Does that mean I have to pull the oven out of the wall and remove the back panel to get to the connector. Or do most service techs use cut the wires and use the ceramic caps?
Thanks
David
