Replacing Freezer Lock

We need to replace our freezer lock. Ice cream keeps disappearing and no one knows where! Hmmm… Three teenage boys in the house, what do you think? Anyway…

I looked up freezer locks and found a set for $12. I looked up the parts for our model and found a $50 set, but no lock. Are freezer locks generic? Could we use the $12 set to keep ice cream thieves out?

I’m sorry… I was looking up something else and saw the compatibility tool and used it for the part we would rather pay for. Nope! Not compatible. Rats! I guess we will have to order the more expensive one.
