Hi! I have found so much good advice on this forum, so I’m hoping to find some again. Apparently the control board went out on our 4 year old Maytag washer (MVWX655DW1) and I was quoted $600 to repair it. I"m finding out that the part is priced high to force people to repurchase, but I’d like to try to fix it. I can’t find any of the exact part number in stock anywhere, so I’m wondering if there’s another control board that might work. Or do I have to use the exact model? Thank you for any advice!
