The right side of my Jenn Air CVE-3400 cooktop needs to be replaced. While I am fairly handy, I have never replaced a range cooktop. From the diagrams it appears that the unit needs to lifted so that you can then detach the bracket holding the glass cooktop in place. On the diagram, it looks straightforward, but I was hoping for some confirmation that this can be done without to much trouble and technical knowledge of ranges.
Also any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
