Replacing the hub in washer, it rotted away. I’ve found 2 leather washers in the tub. don’t know where they came from or where they go. Also do think a machine 6 years old is worth fixing??
Not sure what you have, maybe something that came out of some pockets and not associated with the machine at all.
The hub is not expensive, so I would give it a try, but the real question is why did it fail. It may have been defective from the start, but if not you need to try to determine what is going on and try to prevent another failure or failure of some other part.
