I had an issue with this unit not drying and leaving clothes wet, no codes though. I replaced the thermistor and the other part next to it. The unit ran fine for one cycle then left clothes wet on the second cycle, then shows the f25 code. I cleaned all the vents just in case and the lint from the fan blades. Code is still reading but I can feel the heat when I open the door after running for less than one minute. Is there a way to simply reset the code? Why is it still showing it? Thank you!!!
A model number would be helpful.

WED9200SQ0 thank you!!!
See the attachment for the tech sheet.
If it keeps recurring then unplug the thermistor at the control board.
Then if it shows up again I would say there is a problem with the board.
Is it possible that it’s just a stored code in memory?
Yes it is possible that it is just a stored code.
After a couple of loads, the f25 code is still there and they clothes are coming out damp. Any other ideas or guidance?
Since you have tried to clear it and it keeps recurring and if you have tried the troubleshooting on Page 7 of the tech sheet I would say that the problem is on the board.
I replaced the board, instantly got an F01 and an F28 as soon as I powered up. Reset the unit and codes are cleared. But, I still have the problem of the heavy duty light not illuminating when in diagnostic mode. I haven’t dried any clothes yet but I think there is a problem because the instructions say that all lights should illuminat. I checked the moisture sensor by putting it in diagnostic mode an opening the door. I get P3E and a single beep. When I bridging the sensor strips, I get a constant beep and 2:00. Is there still a problem?
And now this just happened. it just started beeping while it was drying, but no codes. Could it be the user interface panel? I’m so lost and distraught.
The moisture sensor looks like it is OK.
You have replaced and checked the thermistor earlier and that also checks out OK, correct?
Could it be in the control panel it is possible but it is just a grasping at straws with no hard evidence that it is.
You seem to be getting weird errors all over the place.
Check that the power coming out of the power cube is a good/solid +5 volts.
Am I correct in assuming that this unit did run OK at this location with the current electrical hookup?
The reason I ask is that error codes that are all over the place are often due to spikes on the line or a bad electrical hook up.
point
At this point I am just making wild guesses as the troubleshooting does not point towards a bad part.
Thanks for the help. I changed the board already, the thermistor in the intake and outtake and a thermal fuse. The only thing left if the sensing circuit harness and bar sensors or the control planet user interface. It seems to dry okay in timed dry but not on auto sensing. And I didn’t change out the heating element.
it looks like the last thing I just did finally fixed it, I replaced the moisture sensing harness, not the bars themselves, just the harness with resistors in them, etc. However, when in diagnostic, the heavy duty light still does not illuminate and I believe that it should. Thank you again for all of your help and guidance.
Not fixed:(. Changed out the user interface and still have f25 and now it won’t go off of sensing into wet, damp, etc. put the old board back in, f25 did not appear but same problem. Put new board back in f25 again but same problem. That heavy duty light still does not illuminate during diagnostic. Should I scrap the machine?
has been bookmark, this seems like a very interesting thread
