Roper Dryer

My dryer overheats and stops. I replaced the temp sensor, heatiing coil and one time fuse. It did two loads and stopped. I had a repair man install another fuse. It ran 2 loads and quit. He came back and cleaned debris out of a black tube in the bottom and said the vent was plugged. He put another fuse in it. One load and it stopped again. Any ideas on what is wrong??? My wife is ready to shoot me and the repair guy.

…He…said the vent was plugged…

Which vent - inside or outside the dryer? Did he unplugged it?

You may want to check the vent outlet and, if the vent line is more than 2’ long, call a professional vent cleaning company.
