Samsung dryer motor won't shut off

I have a Samsung electric dryer that appears to have a motor stuck on and can only be stopped by opening the door or pulling the plug. The dryer appears to be working normally including variable heat levels, moisture sensing, timed drying, plays the completion chime, even powers off the control panel, but the motor continues to run. Anybody have some guesses as to my culprit component?

Is the wrinkle prevent option turned on? It provides 90 minutes of tumbling after end of cycle to prevent wrinkling. If it’s off, looks like a faulty control board.

I can’t recall if the last cycle we did had the wrinkle prevent on or not. I did remove the entire control panel and the dryer still ran with it removed. Is the control board not co-located with the control panel?

No, the control board is under the top panel on the left side.

Awesome. I’ll give that a whirl and see if that’s the problem. Thank you!
