I get this Error Code IE that prohibits any action on the dishwasher. Looked up on line and one suggestion is to check for water by the water sensor. I removed this plate and sensor, but both are bone dry, sensor dry, no hint of water on motor or the sensor. What now?
I have ordered a replacement sensor (although it is hard to believe that the 4 wires are somehow bad, but heck I can return it. Also ordered a new control board, this was pricey, but if it corrects the problem, then this is fine. The question is: should I be looking at something else. Obviously I removed the power and this signal comes on immediately, but like I said there is no moisture by the sensor or the pan that holds it.
Ideas other than replace this very expensive dishwasher? I think many others have had the same issue.
