Slow Water Dispenser

Hello,

I have an LG french door fridge and the water flow has slowed to about 1/3 of what it used to be. Only 2 years old. Water is on a softener system.

Water Inlet —> filter —> door tube connection on back of fridge –> Ice maker /water dispenser

Here is what I know:

  • Good water flow and pressure at the fridge inlet
  • Filter has been changed with no change in the condition
  • Water is slow post filter and before the fridge door. (Disconnected the rear tube pre-door/ice/water dispenser and flow is poor.)

I assume I either have a blockage before or after the filter or is it possible the solenoid is bad/ weak? How would I go about cleaning the line or checking the solenoid?
