everything works except the spin cycle. Ive replaced the timer and it still does the samething.Its a GE Profile about 7 years old. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Bob, it sounds like a drive problem. Is it direct drive or belt drive?
Also the clutch can get bad, allowing agitation, but no spin after rinse.
