Love my sudsaver on my Maytag. Having a few issues that are probably related.
A little history. About a year ago I replaced the little "flapper valve" that controls which hose the wash water is expelled to. But the assembly is a little rusted (you know the unit with a little spring and a selenoid).
Now, 1. I noticed that the amount of water sent to the sudsaver reservoir (tub) is less than normal. And 2., when the sudsaver is engaged and water is being sucked from the reservoir, it isn’t drawing water as fast as usual and there is a sucking sound from the drain hose. (I suspect my "flapper valve" replacement isn’t working). So I would guess that the entire assembly needs replacement.
And, one more thing. Once recently, water dumped all over the floor.
