My oven only gets to 150 degrees. The heating element doesn’t turn orange like it used to but it does get warm. I hear the circuit board clicking pretty often. I called Thermador and they recommended I replace the element. I replaced the element but still have the same problem. Assume it has to be something on the circuit board again. Any ideas? Thanks JJ
Does the cooling fan go on as soon as you turn the Bake On?
If it does, then check the air switch (#3 on the [B]diagram
If the air switch is good and works properly then check the thermal cut-off thermostat (12 on the diagram) for continuity. It can be reset by pressing the red button in the middle of the thermostat.
If all of the above parts are good then the problem is a bad oven relay board (#7 on the [URL="http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5110151&diagram_id=191393)) which is unfortunately is no longer available.
Here are the breakdown diagrams and http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5110151

Gene,
Thanks for the reply. The fan on the oven does come on when I put it in bake mode. I was looking for the air switch as you recommended. I dont know if I found it but I did set the oven to bake (both the top and bottom element immediately started to get warm. We the oven door open, I move the self cleaning locking mechanism. this caused the oven to shut off. I turned the oven back on and it works! I dont know if that was the problem but it works for now.
