thermador prg366 broiler igniter

Hello,
I purchased and received the broiler igniter for my Thermador prg366us and am unclear how to access the push on electrical connections?
Do I pull the oven away from the wall and access plugs from a rear panel or should the tails pull through the rear oven wall at the mounting location?
Thank you for your help,
Ian

I got it done today.
The stove must be pulled away from the wall far enough for you to get back there and work comfortably. Be aware of the gas line feed, and keep checking as you pull stove out so as not to stress the flexible line!
remove upper left and right screws from back panel and slide panel upward and out.
You will be able to determine the two leads with help from someone on the other side(inside) of oven. I don’t know that wire orientation is important or not and it is difficult to determine because the igniter is symetrical and non descript.
The igniter I received from appliance parts pros had two push on connectors. You will need to cut one and strip wire insulation as one lead is connected directly to two other wires by means of a screw on wire connector. The other wire pushes on using the quick connector. Screw the igniter and backing plate to the same place it came from.
Plug the oven in and test the broiler before putting everything back together and putting oven back in place.
If it works (as it did for me), put it back together and make a grill cheese.

Later…
