I am getting too much water to the icemaker causing it to spill into the bin and down the back wall making an ice flow. I just replaced the filter before writing this. It had not been replaced for a long time; I bought the refrigerator used. In the event that the problem continues would the problem be in the fill valve or more likely in the icemaker itself? After I clean up the ice and restart the icemaker, it doesn’t start overflowing right away. It starts when the bin is starting to filll.
Hi.
Make sure that the fill tube isn’t touching the inlet wall causing splashing.
Adjust the cube size by turning the adjustment screw CW 1/2 turn (remove the head cover to locate the screw).
Post the results.

I took a closer look and noticed that the tray was dripping water from the rear corner after filling until ice formed and stopped the drip. I think the tray is leaking so I ordered a new icemaker kit.
I’m glad you find the problem.
