i have a side by side Amana refrigerator/freezer more than 10 years old. The bottom half of the freezer appears to be freezing, but not the top. There is a vent half way up the freezer that does not appear to be blowing air. The refrigerator unit is making some sound which my husband thinks is a fan motor. The sound is constant; there does not seem to be an intermittent sound of a compressor or other fan coming on.
Thoughts?
