touchpad out completely need help desperately

My touchpad slowly went out until I can no longer use the oven at all. I have tried to replace the control board and it did not work. What did i do wrong. Someone said I should have replaced the control panel. If so what does it look like and how hard is it to replace.
Thanks

Rhonda (need help)

I did succeed in installing the control board and did have a display lit up. The display beeped and then put a 3.0 code up and then quickly showed the time again which cannot be set and of course gives the wrong time, but the display was working just like when I had the old part in the oven. Do you think it is the control panel and which of the instructions you sent will I need to use. It it easier or harder to install the control panel vs. the board.

Thanks

OK,

So your ERC(clock) is OK,

The 3.0 code is telling you, which version of control, you have in the range.

Since you can’t program any selections, it would have to be the Keypad / Control panel assembly and ribbon.

With some additional basic tools, (short stubby screw driver)you may be able to avoid removing the cooktop, grates, etc,
But you will need to follow the Control Panel and Clock Removal instructions.

Good Luck,
