Purchased universal dryer motor kit w17x10010. This was listed as oem replacement.
Wiring diagram supplied with kit doesn’t match existing motor wiring or new motor supplied.
Wiring diagram "OLD FORM T" shows 6 terminals with 3 wires; black wire attached to #3, blue to #5, and orange to #4 terminal.
Actual existing motor has 5 wires on 5 (not 6) terminals. Black wire was attached to terminal marked #1, orange (could be brown) to #6, yellow to #4, blue t0 #5, and purple to #2.
Wiring diagram supplied "NEW FORM V" shows 3 wires black, orange, and blue attached to (at) #3, #4, and #5 terminals. Replacement motor has no connector at #4 terminal.
Any help would be appreciated
