Tried to start washer. Selected Normal Wash. Closed door. Display normally shows runtime. No display. Push Start. Nothing.
Only two of the cycle lights turn on when pressed.
Checked both door switches. Good.
Tech sheet missing.
Saw a post showing how to put in Sales Demo Mode by pressing Extra Rinse 5 or 6 times and then Start.
This cycles all of the cycle lights and options in 6 steps and the display flashes two bars on top and one bar to the left when you are facing washer.
Saw in another Tech Sheet for Maytag how to put in Manual or Field Service Mode by pressing Heavy Duty 5 or 6 times and then Start. No response.
Is there a way to reset board?
Controls are on top so they are covered when door is closed. Does door have to be closed for Start button to respond? I can simulate by taking door switches off handle so they close.
Any troubleshooting ideas?
