After replacing the coupler and running a few loads the washer filled then stopped and did nothing. Bypassed the lid switch still hummed/buzzed then clicked off. Drained the tub and checked the pump - it was clear (no socks) and moved freely. Tested motor with pump unhooked and it worked. Put everything back together and washer filled but then hummed/buzzed then clicked off again.
Any suggestions as to what can be wrong?
You have something stuck in the washer. Pull the pump and turn the motor shaft in the clockwise direction till the tranny goes into spin. If hard to turn, you either have jammed brake shoes, or something stuck in the tub.
