our washer goes out of balance real bad when spinning. The springs under the tub seem to be ok.
Operate it with the front panel off and see if you can tell where the problem is. Sometimes there is something cracked or broken that is almost impossible to see, so look very closely.
If all else fails you can try replacing the springs.
