Installed new seal kit and mounting stem repair kit but still leaks ! I’m not sure where I went wrong . I’ve replaced seals many times on other washers and had great success ! The only thing I can think of is that the outer tub may have too much wear at the seal mating surface to properly seal ! any suggestions ? thank you Aggravated !
I think you are right. This is a pretty old machine and your explanation makes sense, particularly since you are experienced at seal replacement.
Sometimes you just have to let the machine go to its final resting place.
Please advise!
Appliance parts says that drive coupler for this model is no longer made–it isn’t that old! what drive coupler will fit instead!??
the one that I see which is available looks almost exactly the same. Threads wore out the very fist time I tried to use some ice in it to make a smoothie!
