Washer overflows but not the usual suspect. . .as far as I can tell.
Washer overflowed about 8 months ago. Repalced the water level switch, and verified that the hose leading to the tub is not cloged. Problem was fixe until last weekend.
Replaced the water level switch again, checked that hose is correctly connected and clear (I can easily blow through it). Did not solve the problem.
I do not think it’s the water vaulve. . .as the water stops filling when I turn the washer off. . .or when I move the timer to "spin". However, if I let it go through the normal cycle. . .it will fill and keep filling right through the "agitation" cycle. Please note the washer does NOT "agitate".
Could it be the timer?
Please note that the resevour that the water level hose connects to appears to have some crap in the bottom of the resevour. it may be mold. . .or grease or something. Keep in mind that i can easily blow through the tube.
I’ve already replaced the water level switch twice. Find it hard to believe that both are bad. So the only things left woudl be the timer and the water vaulve. I’d probably replace both to be safe. . .but want to check with people here for other things I may be missing.
