My washer started agitating before filling with water. I tried all the settings and the only one that fills water first is the Hand wash setting. I’ve replaced the timer switch and still no joy. Is this a problem with Cntrl-Elec AP3968899 part?

Disconnect pressure hose from back of fabric softener switch and blow into hose to make sure it’s clear. Cut 1/4" off the end of the hose and reattach. If problem still there, replace switch.
