Got codes E31 and E5E. Which wants me to change out pressure sensor, which I did. Also changed out control board. Machine still gives same codes and will not start. Checked wireing and it’s ok also. Whats wrong?
Front loaders with microprocessor control have a built in diagnostic. When the control unit does not get a signal that the system is operating it shuts down and give a "communications" error. Unfortunately the error code does not give any hint of the problem, so you end up replacing components on spec.
If you are certain the wiring is not compromised then replacing the motor control unit is the next step, but this cannot be guaranteed to fix it.
