Washer won't agitate, but spins fine

My Kitchen Aid washer won’t agitate, but will spin fine. During the wash cycle, the washer is dead quite, but the timer does move. It will eventually drain and spin. The rinse/spin cycle works fine. Could this be a bad timer? If so, which timer would I be after?
